Tips on how to get enough of the Good Foods into your body, easily!

What goes into your body is far more important than what foods you are trying to avoid, and many of you focus on what you are not allowed to have and don’t pay much attention to what you are actually having!π₯π₯¬π₯¦π₯π₯π₯
If your body is missing out on certain essential nutrients, bad things tend to go wrong in your body π·
Take vitamin C for example π – many animals can produce their own vitamin C, but not us (humans). You NEED to get vitamin c from your food every single day!
What happens if you don’t get enough vitamin C each day?β
Scurvy can happen, it can take about 4 weeks (or less depending on how much vitamin C reserves your body had to begin with). Scurvy can cause you to be fatigued, cause anemia, make your gums ulcerated, inflamed and red and lose your teeth, make you get small purple or red spots on your skin, give you joint pain, make parts of your body swell, make your wounds take longer to heal, cause spontaneous bleeding, or make your hair grow in a corkscrew fashion, and eventually, death.π΅
No one wants this to happen! So here are some tips on increasing your healthy intake of good foods π

1 – Start your day being awesome by playing your favorite music πΆ while chopping up from fruit and vegetables to put into a green smoothie ππ₯π₯πππππππππ₯ππ₯₯π₯π
Doing this before your morning coffee β will help you to establish a new routine! and start your body off with fantastic hit of nutrients! π
2 – Create already made smoothie bags filled with fruit and veg in little baggies and single serve amounts in the freezer all ready for your busy morning! π(Doing this on the weekend and having 7, 14, or even 30 little bags of fruit ππand veg will have you all set for a whole month!)
Then just throw the fruit, veg and some almond, soy or coconut milk into the blender and watch that delicious nutrient drink whirl! π₯ππ
3 – Increase your vegetable intake with each of your meals π₯
If you are already using vegetables then increase this at each meal. Ensure you are eating 7-8 cups of vegetables each day (condensing this down to about 2-3 cups or handfuls at each meal will make it easy)
If you are not used to having vegetables or salad with your meals, start off with adding 1 cup at each meal for the 1st week, 2 cups at each meal for the 2nd week and then 3 cups at each meal for the 3rd week π
4 – Slice πͺ your vegetables into sticks (carrots, cucumber, celery) and dip them into guacamole, hummus or nut butters. Having snacks all ready means you will have your healthy vegetables all ready and on hand, and less likely to reach for something unhealthy.π
